Problem with Duplicate Content and how to fix it

Duplicate content basically is the same ( or appreciably similar) content or substantive-blocks-of-content within a domain or within across domains.

If you have a website that has two or more URLs with the same content, that is duplicate content.

If you have two or more website that have the same content, that's also a duplicate content.

So, why is it so bad to have duplicate content, you may asked.

Well, for one, Your webpages might get penalizes by Google.

So How to fix this problem ?

If you have a website that has two or more URLs with the same content you can use what they called Canonical URL Link Tag. But pay attention. This thing only woks for google.
This tag will let Google know that you want a page to be considered the official address for the content created.

For example how to fix this problem.

"mysite.com/index.html" and "www.mysite.com/" and "www.mysite.com/index.html" might be considered three pages by googlebot because it creates "link dilution" and Googlebot might index the pages lower because of it.

Okey, here is how to use canonical URL :

* For HTML pages:

<link rel="canonical" href="http://www.mysite.com/correctpage.html">

* For XHTML pages:

<link rel="canonical" href="http://www.mysite.com/correctpage.html">

Don't forget to replace the "mysite.com/correctpage.html" with your own sites name and page you want to be the official page. After that you want to copy and paste the link into the head section of your website where the meta data is located. This way, google will know that this is the page you want Google to index.

That the first type of duplicate content and how you can fix it.

Now, the second type of duplicate content is where you have two or more websites that have the same content.

In this situation, googlebot will have to decide which of these sites deserves the credit for that content.

So, how do we fix this ?

Well, you can use these three neat tricks to generate different versions of an original content:

1. Use a different headline.
2. Replace paragraphs and sentences around.
3. You can Use less bullets in your modified version.

I recommend to use all these tricks together.

Be an Entrepreneur not a worker bee

This article is basically my personal experience. There is absolutely nothing you can get out of this article.

For the past 8 year, I had been working as a worker bee. Slaving my ass up just to get a tiny fraction amount of money from the company i work for. Now it is time for me to end this. My mindset has changed.

Now I've come to realized there are endless way and endless possibilities about making money in this life. And the most important thing is You don't have to depend on someone. Don't have to dealing with bossy people around you. It is completely a new era for me.

Being a worker bee means you have to get up at 7 in the morning, rushing in to your office and staying there for 8 hours doing whatever from typing something to heavy lifting 50 pounds of boxes, go home and do the exactly the same thing the next day over and over again. Well that sounds sucks, doesn't it ?

On the other side. Being an entrepreneur means, you could be at the beach, asking someone in Africa to create a list of the top 10 most viewed video on YouTube, then asked someone else in Vietnam, to contact the owner of those 10 video and pursue them to add an AdSense link to their video description.
And from there the money just flowing in to your bank account in a matter of minutes.

What is PPC and CPA ?

PPC stands for Pay Per Click, is a very popular advertising method on the internet. The ads is presented as a sponsored links in text form.
You will place this links on your website or blog. Whenever a visitor clicks on this links, the advertiser will pay you.

The more traffic to your site, the more visitors will see this links and click it.

Here is an example.
Let's say there is a company wants to launch a new product. They create an offer where they agree to pay $0.25 for each person who would bring person see their produck. Then Your job is to direct traffic to that company's site (using the links given by that company) and then collect $0.25 for each person who clicked the links on your site.

CPA stands for Cost Per Action, is another popular advertising method on internet. You will get paid once a visitor clicked the links on your site and did an action.

The term "action" here could be as simple as filling out a form or signing out a free trial for a product.

Here is a basic example.
Let's say there is a company wants to conduct the consumer feedback on a new product that they are introducing. They create an offer where they agree to pay $1.00 for each person who submits their e-mail address and zip code. Then Your job is to direct traffic to that company's site and then collect $1.00 for each person who submitted their email address and zipcode.

How to get traffic

Traffic is the blood line of internet marketing. Internet traffic is the number of bytes transmitted from one Internet to another. When you click a website that means you are transmitting data from the server where the website resides to your computer.

Search engine like google measures this traffic in order to determine the popularity of a website.

The more popular a website means the more people will come to visit it. Therefore, the more opportunity for companies to advertise their product.

So, How do we increase the traffic ?

There lots of possibilities.

1. You can make a video about something (showing how you really love your cat for example), an upload it to a youtube.
2. You can create a blog and tell your friend to visit your blog.
3. you can upload a picture to a free website and tell your friend to see it
4. and so on.

My Contraints in Internet Business

Okey, You've got this ads from someone that said you can make thousands of dollars in a week. And now you are interested in Internet marketing business. You bought some ebook, spent hundreds of dollar, doing research and still you haven't make a cent yet.

Trust me. I've been there too.

One of the reasons why alots of people fail in internet business is that they failed to recognize their own constraint.

In my opinion, if we able to identify the constraint (the thing that prevents us from obtaining more of the goal), we would be able to EXPLOIT the constraint - and finally move the constraint.

Here i'm trying to show you two of the most contraints that i've got when I first started my Internet Business.

1. Lack Of Passion.
Instead of doing thing litle by litle, i've decided to do the big thing first. And as a result, I achieved nothing.

2. Underestimate.
Okey, I'm so exciting about a business model, i bought the ebook, I read it, and finally I came up with this idea "the steps listed in the ebook i just bought are too easy to be done, therefore, I WILL TRY THAT LATER. So, instead of doing, I decided to put that ebook under my pillow.

What is PLA

If you are a new player in Internet Marketing, you've probably heard about PLA. And you're wondering about it.

Well, PLA stands for Private Label Articles. These are articles. But not like other articles that has an author name attached to it, PLA's are articles that are written by others and then sold without the authors name attached to it.

You can buy a PLA and own it. You can also use it on your website or blog. you can then attach your name to those articles as the author and you are also free to change them.

PLA's are good if you want to add content to your website and blog rapidly.

Pay attention to one thing. If you using PLA as a content, there is a possibility that other blog or site also has the same content like yours.

It is good to use PLA as your site Content, but, in my opinion, you might want to make some changes in article title and in article body.

Internet Marketing - an Introduction

Have you ever heard an ads that said something like this : "Making $100,000 in a day" ?
The first thing pops up in my brain after I read that ads was "is it true ?"

Believe it or not. At first, I always think that those ads are a the greatest scam ever. But then I come to realize that those thing are make sense. There is always a posibillity that we can make a $100,000 in a day.

Here is one of those reason :
"not all peole are connected to the internet yet". Every single day, more and more new internet user join the internet. And they don't even know what internet marketing all about.

Internet marketing is probably one of the areas of online business more vastly invaded by money making products of all kinds, sizes and prices.

It will take some time and effort on your part, but that will be basically all you will be risking in exchange for the real possibility of making a lot of money online.

Here is one of those methods That I have :

1. Create a website
2. Create adsense account
3. Get traffic
4. Sell the website.

There are other ways to create money using the internet.

Like sign up for affiliate networks such as Commission Junction, Millnic Media and Linkshare (there are more, but this is a good starting point).

Then go ahead and to do some research on the products offered by the various publishers (companies offering products) and identify the ones that are hot and profitable for other members of the network.

You then can create a website to promote that companies' offers (if you feel you can say something relevant about the product), or you could simply get a domain and redirect traffic directly to the publishers' website.

You may ask to your self. How do you get the traffic?

You can use paid traffic (PPC) or you can use free traffic techniques like articles, social bookmarking, social networking and more.

There are some additional details to be considered in order to build this simple internet marketing strategy, which are anything but complicated yet they cannot be ignored.
